Dr. Iman Farajallah

Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), Ph.D.

Dr. Iman Farajallah is a doctor of psychology, Ph.D. She also holds a master of arts in clinical psychology from Sofia University and an MBS degree in international relations from San Francisco state university. Additionally, she holds certificates & other training from the California Association for alcohol/drug educators (CAADE) in Lakewood, ca. a diploma in negotiation and conflict resolution at Erasmus University in the Netherlands in partnership with the Institute of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for international mediation and conflict resolution.

Dr. Farajallah also works as a professor at Sofia University, teaching psychopathology, ethics, and research. She teaches at Graduate Theological Union University religious and spiritual diversity in counseling. She works as a psychological assistant with the Bay Area Psychiatric Group and the Stanford Muslims & Mental Health Lab.

Dr. Iman is an established researcher and writer and recently published an article on the pandemic titled “Positivity during a pandemic can COVID-19 Raise the psychological immunity of Individuals and society?” Coping with pandemics: psychological and spiritual lessons from Islamic history, and The Psychosocial Impacts of War and Armed Conflict on Children. Dr. Iman Farajallah supports the vision and mission of the Iman Network, which stresses the importance of mental health, empowerment, and relief in helping underserved communities.
